Founding Clinical and Trust Lead

Rymeda's entire thesis is trust, and this founding leadership role owns the two areas a healthcare infrastructure company most needs credible from day one: clinical safety, and the trust foundation of privacy and security. Depending on your background this may begin as one person, an advisor, or a fractional engagement, and can grow into the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Trust Officer roles over time. It may ultimately be two people; we are open to the right shape.

What you will own

  • Clinical safety. What ORIS is allowed to say and do medically, when it must defer to a clinician, and how it communicates uncertainty. You would hold the clinical-safety veto that sits above normal product ownership.
  • Trust foundation. Privacy-by-design, security-by-default, and the mandatory Trust Review before anything patient-facing ships. You would hold the privacy and security vetoes.

You might be right if you

  • Are a licensed clinician who wants to help do digital health safely and honestly, or a security and privacy leader who has protected sensitive data at real scale.
  • Believe trust is earned slowly and lost instantly, and are willing to say no to protect it, even under pressure.
  • Want to shape, from the very beginning, a company whose whole reason to exist is trust.

Your first few months

Establish the clinical-safety and trust standards the company builds against, stand up the Trust Review as a routine gate rather than a last-minute scramble, and make the safety and privacy posture something Rymeda can credibly stand behind.

The honest version of the deal

We are early and bootstrapped. At this stage we are not paying market salary. We offer meaningful equity and genuine co-ownership to the small number of people who build the foundation, and we plan to build the team first, then raise capital. Early decisions in a compounding infrastructure company have a long half-life, so early builders own a real part of what they build. You would join before the comfortable proof points exist. If that is a reason to join, we should talk. Full-time is welcome; for some roles, advisory or fractional to start is also welcome.
